Cheshire Pump Company wins an order for Pinch Valves from Major European and UK Specialist Glass plant Jan 2013

During 2012 and 2013 we have been working with a specialist glass manufacturing facility part of a major worldwide group to supply pneumatic actuated pinch valves for control and isolation applications. The plant had been using standard ball or gate valves for controlling the cooling water around their facility near London. The valves were unreliable and failed regularly causing flooding and very high water costs. Due to the fluid carrying abrasive particulates normal valves were useless. Once the Flowrox valves were installed with a small plc, the operator could make fine adjustments to control the water flow and the isolation valves prevented water flooding the works. The client is so impressed that this arrangement is now the “standard” for all new and machinery and is installed during updates to existing plant. The next order for more valves has already been placed for installation during April 2013, contact us for reference contact details
